The chiringuitos are the real draw — espeto sardines grilled on the beach, hard to beat.

Local feel, beach is well kept though the seabed is sandy so the water isn't always crystal clear.

Great beaches with seafood restaurants and relaxed atmosphere. Easily accessible from central Malaga (Alameda) by bus.

To say El Palo in Malaga is to talk about quiet and shallow coves, wonderful. The drawback is to go by car because the parking is practically zero. The only affordable public transport is the bus. It is a seaside neighborhood of the capital with a lot of flavor.

Council to everyone, even with children. Great food and El Palo is a very pleasant destination that can be reached from the center of Málaga in half an hour by public bus 1.40 euros.

Pleasant beach

Samuele G · Aug 2025

Average beach. Excellent for those who do not want to go too far from Malaga and like a little more tranquility. It is easily located and there is a wide choice of restaurants. To swim I do not recommend it particularly, the seabed is sandy and the water is not exactly clear but still perceives that it is not very clean.
